More rumors and speculations about the HTC One M10 surface online, with one particular claim highlighting the mobile's allegedly impressive dual camera.
According to a report from Yibada, the M10 will reportedly be equipped with a 27 MP dual camera, an undeniable upgrade over the HTC One M9's 20.7 MP shooter. If this rumor about the M10's camera is true, then the device would definitely outmatch the LG G4's 16 MP.
LG G4's shooter has a technology which brings about an F1.8 aperture lens, an enhanced level of optical image stabilization, and a Color Spectrum Sensor system, Computer World listed. The latter is said to "achieve greater color accuracy than what was previously possible," the news outlet wrote.
Stuff noted that the LG G4's shooter optical image stabilization is highly effective in taking snapshots, adding that "the combo of good lens and good OIS gets you well above-average low-light photos." The device's camera also has a laser focusing feature.
The M9's 20.7 MP camera is equipped with a dual-LED (dual tone) flash, GSM Arena noted.
Other Specs & Features
Aside from an excellent camera quality, the M10 is also said to come in at 5-inch display, along with a full 4 K resolution and 4GB RAM space, Yibada claimed.
The mobile's other features also include a 3500 mAh battery life, a touch ID scanner to provide better security, water and dust resistance, and 64 GB and 128 GB memory variants, the news outlet wrote. The M10 is also said to have two impressive speakers for those users who want better audio quality.
As for its processor, Yibada reported that it could have the Qualcomm 820/82X chipset. If this is true, the processor could be undergoing testing phase and the early manufacturing stage as of the moment.
According to htconeseries.com, the M10's design will be more refined and slimmer, equipped with a metal build and great features. The mobile company is also said to manufacture the next model in silver, black, and grey colors.
Cult of Android also reported that Howard Lee, Senior Director of Project Management and Electrical Structure at HTC, has already confirmed the integration of wireless charging technology for the M10. This means that the device can be charged by simply placing it on a compatible charging pad.
Estimated Price
Yibada estimated that the M10 would cost around $650 to $800. The high pricing could be because of the handset's impressive specifications and features.
Release Date
We previously reported that the M10 could be unveiled by November this year, with a release date set by early 2016.
Note that these are all rumors for now and an official announcement from HTC is yet to be had.
