It's still a few months before "The Walking Dead" comes back to the small screen for its sixth season, but it seems that news are aplenty, beginning with details about new boomerangs coming their way.

The Wolves

According to website Comic Book, the main bad guys for next season will be The Wolves, and they will be building a zombie army to set them apart from the other survivors.

Showrunner Greg Nicotero said in an interview with Melty, "We set up the Wolves in Episode 16. I love those characters. The fact that you have people that are basically utilizing the people that they kill as ammunition to build a zombie army? We see them in Episode Nine when they get to Noah's neighborhood and we see the 'Wolves not far' in the background, and when the W-man at the beginning says to Morgan, 'Well, we're going to take you, too, but you're not exactly going to be alive,' we realize through the course of the episode that they are setting booby traps everywhere so that they can take people's possessions and then use them as a means to build the walkers in the traps, so it's kind of a diabolical plan."

Alexandria Safe Zone

Although already established to be quite unsafe in the last season, it seems that Rick and the crew are settling in the area, as reported by iDigital Times. With Deanna's husband killed, and Douglas seeing his wife getting the same fate, he went into a deep depression, leaving Rick to step up as a leader, killing Pete in the process. But with an entire herd of walkers eventually getting over the Alexandria's walls, well, things are not looking up for the group next season.

Aaron

Although a relatively new character, Aaron is among the most popular ones in the post-apocalyptic drama and it seems that his team-up with fan-favorite Daryl Dixon is only getting him favors from fans. With his part in the show and his unexpected survival throughout the fifth season, there are some questions, however, as to what will happen to him. According to website Undead Walking, all that's in store for Aaron (if the series follows the comic books) is to pick up supplies and venture out from their safehouse to get some supply runs. He may be memorable, but he does not have as big of a role in the comics, so fingers crossed that they have bigger plans for him come next season.

New characters

Delvin and Tucker are so far the only new characters expected to be introduced next season, but according to Christian Today, both of them come from Alexandria. Production hasn't announced who will be playing them in the series, but do you have any ideas who you want to add to the cast of AMC's series?
