iPad Air 3 Release Date & US Price: Everything Known About Specs & Features So Far

We rounded up the latest rumors and speculations about the iPad Air 3. Note that these are all unconfirmed and official news from the tech giant about the tablet is yet to be announced.

Christian Today claimed that the iPad Air 3 would target the business market and will be powered by the iOS 9. The tablet is also said to be equipped with a 2K resolution, 3D display, A9X processor, and 3 GB worth of RAM space.
CrossMap reported that a large screen could be in store for the iPad Air 3 to compete against other tablets with big screens such as Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 and Samsung's gadgets. The news outlet also claimed that the iPad Air 3 will be as thin as the iPhone 6, which is about 6.9 to 7.1 millimeters. Contrary to Christian Today's claims, the tablet is rumored to have 4 GB of RAM.
CrossMap also added that the iPad Air 3 will have a fingerprint scanner, a stylus, retina display, and four speakers to provide better audio quality to users. Expert Reviews reported that LG is currently speeding up the production of "high-resolution oxide TFT panels" rumored to be utilized by Apple for the new iPad.
Inquisitr reported that the iPad Air 3 will be a good match for gamers because of its "10.2-inch screen boasting 3D graphics" along with a crisp display.
As for its memory size, CrossMap claimed that the iPad Air 3 will come in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB variants. iPadAir3Update.com wrote that the tablet is expected to have a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash, as well as a face recognition feature, multitasking capability, an external memory slot, and wireless charging just like in the tech giant's iPhone handsets.
Gotta Be Mobile added that NFC support could also be one of the upgrades in the iPad Air 3. AUTOOMOBILE claimed that it could come in different color variants as a way to give the tablet a fresh look.
Price
We previously reported that the iPad Air 3 will have a starting price at $499, which is more or less the same as that of the iPad Air 2.
Release Date
Gospel Herald reported that the reason why the iPad Air 3 is still not announced by Apple is because of the increasing consumer demand for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. However, Christian Today wrote that the tablet could be announced alongside the iOS 9 at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC event in June 2015.
CrossMap, on the other hand, said that the tablet could come out in fall 2015.
With these rumored specs and features which are nothing short of amazing, Apple is surely upping their game to compete against other rival tablets in the market.
