The Sony Xperia Z5 is going to be released soon and it seems that the upcoming model is going to sport a new design that is inspired by the BRAVIA TV.

According to Ecumenical News, Sony is planning to launch the Xperia Z5 along with the Z5 Ultra and Z5 Compact versions, and the company, which has been using the Omni-Balance design for its flagship devices, is ready for a change as it is reportedly set on changing a new design language for the Xperia Z5 Models.

Citing rumors, the outlet claimed that the handset will sport a clean front end with a frosted glass effect, much like the Bravia TV, and the company will shift its logo to the side so that no branding will be visible on the front of the phone.

Christian Today also reported that the Z5 is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of the year, with fans speculating its release for December. However, if the handset will use Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 chipset, there is also the possibility that it will be delayed until 2016.

As for the design itself, Android Origin noted that the Xperia Z5 will have a thicker body than that of the Xperia Z3 and Z4, with more angular sides, which could be reminiscent of the Sony Ericsson models.

The Xperia Z5 Ultra and Z5 Compact may also have 6.0-inch and 4.8-inch display sizes, respectively, Android Origin added. The upgrades will also mean that there will be better resolution for the phones at 1080 x 1920 MP but this is yet to be confirmed. As Android Origin also noted, the release of the Z5 will also be the first device to make use of Qualcomm's Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor technology, exclusive for the Z5 Ultra.

For the budding phone photographers intent on posting on social networking sites like Facebook and Instagram, the Z5 series is rumored to have new camera sensors and a 4GB RAM, Christian Today noted.

For the rest of the specifications, Xperia Z5 Info said that the Z5 will have a 4500mAh battery, with APCS sensor auto focus and optical image stabilization for its cameras --- the front camera great for selfies with 6.1MP, while the main rear camera with 24-27MP. It will also be shockproof and dustproof, with eye sensing technology, and it will have 32 and 64 GB internal memory expandable to up to 128 GB with the help of a microSD card.
