Actresses and singers are not the only ones who made news during the Met Gala on Monday as Miami Heat shooting guard Dwayne Wade also made a statement with his two outfits which reportedly cost $900,000.

Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, were among the night's hottest couples with them coming prepared for the event. The Miami Heat star came wearing a tux by Versace matched with a custom red sash by the same designer and jewelry by Buccellati, US Magazine described. Union, on the other hand, donned "a jersey and bonded crepe gown" by Zac Posen and paired it with Gemfields jewels and Charlotte Olympia heels.

Just Jared said this is the first time that the two attended the Met Gala event as a married couple. The star-studded activity is an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City.

Wade's stylish outfits did not escape the eyes of the curious public who wanted to know how much each attire costs. Here's a breakdown, provided by TMZ:

TMZ, however estimated that Wade did not spend $900,000 for his two outfits because some of them were "given to him for free."

US Magazine also noted that Wade was not the only athlete in attendance who made a grand appearance during the event. NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn also looked stunning.

Rodgers, according to US Magazine, wore a fitted tuxedo by Lanvin and sported a black jacket with a peak lapel, paired with a matching silk pique bow tie. Munn, on the other hand, was captivatng in her J. Mendel ombre gown.

Former Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter accompanied his girlfriend, American fashion model Hannah Davis.

Davis arrived in a fitted red chiffon gown and has a tiny clutch by Kotur while Jeter, who was wearing a Rag & Bone tux, as per US Magazine.

The fashion model shared how they prepared for the event.

"It was kind of like people were coming in and out all day long. So we just had a lot of people at the hotel. I think they were more stressed out than me," Davis explained.
