After beating Manny Pacquiao on Saturday night in a unanimous win, Floyd Mayweather Jr. showed off a check worth $100-million, his earnings from the fight.

But he has a special request to the reporters who were present during the post-fight interview. "No pictures, though. Don't want any pictures of it," he was quoted in the Associated Press (AP) report published on Yahoo Sports.

This is just reportedly the estimated half of what he really earned after pay-per-view sales are added.

With this huge earnings, Saturday's match can really be considered the richest fight in boxing history but AP said it was not the "best fight ever" as both boxers failed to bring excitement to the audience and the fans who waited five long years to witness it.

After taking home a fortune for this megafight, Mayweather revealed that he has one last fight for the year and it will be in September.

"I don't really think I'll miss the sport. I don't even watch boxing. At one particular time I loved the sport of boxing. I wanted to go to every fight and wanted to be at every boxing event. But I just lost the love for the sport," the still undefeated American fighter said.

The judges' scorecards revealed that Mayweather dominated the match against the Filipino champ, who said he thought he won the fight. But AP added that it was Mayweather who landed more punches during the match.

Pacquiao shoulder injury to blame for his loss?

At the post-fight conference, Pacquiao revealed that he struggled during the fight because of a shoulder injury which did not allow him to make use of his right hand effectively.

"Three weeks before the fight I got a tear in my right shoulder. It got better but it wasn't 100%," he was quoted as saying in the BBC report.

Top Rank CEO and Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum added that the Nevada State Athletic Commission was informed of the injury five days before the fight. Despite the health concern, Arum said they saw no reason for the fight to be cancelled.

"Athletes always fight hurt and we felt the work that was done on the shoulder during training would enable him to use his right hand," noted Arum.

But according to BBC, Commission chair Francisco Aguilar said that he knew about the injury just two hours before the fight and that a request for a doctor was denied.

Mayweather, on the other hand, also claimed that he was nursing injuries on his arms and hands.

"If he had come out victorious, I would have shown respect and said he was the better man," Mayweather said during the post-fight interview.

He added that he was able to make non-believers believe that he was the better man and the smarter fighter.

The match, dubbed as "The Fight of the Century", did not really live up to expectations but one man was able to prove that his tried and tested boxing style can win it all. Their combination on the ring just closed the possibility that a rematch will happen as Mayweather's dad and trainer said that "the same thing will happen."
