Carrier U.S. Cellular seems to be on an update streak, as the wireless network has officially started pushing out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

The release makes U.S. Cellular only the second major U.S. carrier to have released Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Note 2. The new firmware, baseband R950VXUBMK3, is available for download over the air, although the Galaxy Note 2 will have to be connected to a Wi-Fi connection due to the size of the update. As usual, not every Galaxy Note 2 owner on U.S. Cellular will immediately receive a notification due to the phased nature of Android rollouts, but that should all change within a few days.

Although U.S. Cellular does not provide an official changelog, Samsung lists the following improvements:

"- Galaxy Gear Compatibility

- Premium Suite Features

- PEN. UP

- Group Play 2.5

- Multi-Window (Note 3 Version)

- Camera - Sound & Shot

- Group Messaging

- Samsung Link Preload

- New Easy Mode

- Samsung Apps"

Sprint is the only other major U.S. network that has rolled out Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Note 2. Evidence suggests that AT&T will soon follow with a release of its own, while T-Mobile and Verizon will most likely have the upgrade out by the end of the year.
