Disney's 'The Descendants' First Trailer Unveiled

The RDMAs 2015 also showed the first trailer for the Disney Channel Original Movie "The Descendants," which centers on the teenage offspring of classic Disney villains, such as Maleficent (Kristin Chenoweth), the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy), Cruella de Vil (Wendy Raquel Robinson), and Jafar (Maz Jobrani), Variety reported.

Banished to the Isle of the Lost with their parents and raised without magic, this new generation of troublemakers was ordered to study at a prep school attended by the children of Disney's iconic heroes. Seeing the opportunity as a chance to make their disgraced parents proud and redeemed in the eyes of the kingdom, the young rascals must learn how to interact with the goody two-shoes kids, including the offspring of Sleeping Beauty, Rapunzel, and Mulan, Disney Blogs wrote.

Portraying as the villains' mischievous children are Dove Cameron (Mal), Sofia Carson (Evie), Cameron Boyce (Carlos), and Booboo Stewart (Jay), Variety noted. "High School Musical" helmer Kenny Ortega directed, executive produced, and choreographed the movie, which is slated for release in summer on Disney Channel.
