After his ski accident at the French Alps on Dec. 2013, news about the condition of Formula One racer Michael Schumacher has been scarce since his family wanted a news blackout on his recovery and rehabilitation. Now, his manager continues to "aggressively guard" details about his current status.

Gospel Herald said said that even the media in Germany and Switzerland are quiet about the F1 racer, who is recovering at his home near Lake Geneva.

"The explanation lies in the conduct of Sabine Kehm, Schumacher's manager, who systematically sends legal letters threatening lawsuits when a newspaper spreads the slightest information about the health of the German driver," Gospel Herald explained in the report.

It has also been reported that the medical team attending to the needs of Schumacher were made to sign confidentiality agreements. Gospel Herald added that a security group guarding the residence of the Schumacher family has been effective in keeping the paparrazzi out of the loop.

In 2014, the racer's medical records were stolen and put on sale, notes Gospel Herald. A man who worked for the helicopter ambulance company that transferred the racer from France to Switzerland was later arrested by police but he was found hanging in his cell before a case hearing even started.

There are no specifics on Schumacher's ongoing recovery but Gospel Herald said that there are rumors about him still unable to speak and being bound to the wheelchair.

In June 2014, the Formula One champion reportedly woke up from his induced coma after he suffered serious head injuries during the ski accident.

Despite scarce news about Schumacher's ongoing recovery, his children have been making headlines lately for their outstanding performances in their own fields of sport.

His 16-year-old son, Mick, will begin his Formula 4 career in Germany this weekend and will be part of the Dutch Van Amersfoort Racing team in the 2015 ADAC Formula 4 series, Daily Mail reported.

It was noted that Mick was impressive in his karting career, when he finished second in the world European and German championships in the previous season, so he went on to do his first ever Formula 4 competition.

Daily Mail added that the younger Schumacher will start 19th in the 38-car grid for the race on Saturday, then participate in two more races on Sunday. This recent feat from Schumacher's son was followed by another one, this time from daughter Gina Maria.

Express said that Schumacher's daughter showcased her talent in a horse riding event in Germany. The 17-year-old competed in the NRHA European Futurity Horse Show in the town of Kreuth.

Earlier this week, she was able to ride a variety of horses and is expected to be part of the finals round as she continues to do well in the competition.

Another Daily Mail article said that Gina Maria sported a variety of outfits for the competition, which will continue until Saturday night.
