Lady Antebellum's co-lead singer Hillary Scott just got a big scare when the tour bus that she's riding on caught fire on a freeway in Texas on Thursday morning. However, according to CNN, everyone on board managed to make it out safely.

The terrifying event was caught on video by a man named Michale Barnett, who was among those caught in the traffic when smoke and flames appeared from the rear end of the band's bus off Interstate 30, Northeast of Dallas. However, as Barnett drew his vehicle closer to the bus, he decided to stop filming because, as the news outlet put it, the onlooker did not know what to expect.

Barnett said, "It was shocking. I didn't know what I was about to see. I didn't know if anyone was hurt." He also stated that he didn't notice at the time that the bus belonged to the popular country band.

Scott posted a photo of the charred bus on her Instagram account, assuring fans that she, her husband, the tour manager, and the driver all made it out of the vehicle alive and well. She captioned the horrific photo, "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary"

Later, she also posted a photo of her bible, saying that everything from the back lounge of their bus were destroyed, except her bible which remained intact. She stated, "I kid you not, EVERYTHING in the back lounge was destroyed from the flames, except my Bible. The outside cover was burned and messed up but NOT ONE PAGE was missing. Yall, God's Word will always stand. He is FOR YOU, WILL PROTECT YOU, AND HIS LOVE FOR YOU WILL NEVER FADE. My faith is forever deepened because of today. I hope this story deepens yours."

According to the tour manager via CBS Dallas/Fort Worth, the bus came to a stop when the rear tire blew out, but did not burst into flames until all of them had gotten out. US Magazine noted that the band's other two members, Charles Kelley and David Haywood, were not travelling with the group at the time. Scott and her companions were making their way to Dallas for the American Country Music Awards on Sunday, where the band was nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, when the incident happened.

The 50th American Country Music Awards will be held on Sunday, April 19, at the AT&T Stadium.
