Earlier this year, Victoria Justice has expressed interest in doing a duet with Ariana Grande, but it looks like that collaboration is not happening anytime soon.

In an interview with ET Online at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, Justice said that a reunion project with the "Love Me Harder" singer isn't possible at the moment.

"I think we're kind of both on our own separate paths right now," Justice told ET Online. "I've been more focused on acting and she's doing her singing thing and doing awesome."

Justice, 22, and Grande, 21, previously starred in Nickelodeon's "Victorious" as lead character Tori Vega and Cat Valentine, respectively. The show was on the air from 2010 to 2013, ET Online noted. Although they both denied it, rumors of a feud have long plagued the two stars.

Speaking about maintaining close relationships with her former "Victorious" co-stars, Justice said that even though she doesn't consider Grande as her best friend, she still wishes for the singer to have "continued success," Seventeen wrote in the magazine's January issue. Justice also revealed that she wasn't opposed to the idea of collaborating with Grande on a track.

Justice presently stars on the MTV thriller "Eye Candy" alongside Harvey Guillen and Kiersey Clemons, Pop Crush wrote. After "Victorious," the brunette beauty also pursued her own solo music career and released songs, such as "Gold" and "Take a Hint." She did a cover of the track "Stay the Night" by Paramore's Hayley Williams and Zedd.

Grande, on the other hand, is currently focused on her steadily rising music career. The pop star's Honeymoon Tour began on February 25 and will have stops across the United States and in Canada. The concert tour will also have international dates, such as London, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain, Live Nation wrote.

Ariana Grande Teases 'Scream Queens' Role

Grande hasn't fully abandoned her acting career despite her presence in the music scene. She is set to have a recurring role in the upcoming FOX series "Scream Queens" by Ryan Murphy.

"Scream Queens," which also stars Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, and Nick Jonas, is currently shooting in New Orleans, MTV reported. The show will center on "a college campus struck by a series of murders and a group of sorority girls who find themselves in the middle of it all."

The series will premiere in the fall and, according to creator Murphy, will follow a "murder mystery" format with someone getting "knocked off" every week, MTV noted.
