Sometimes, the best way to get what you want is to make it viral online. For instance, The Oatmeal poked fun at HBO for making it difficult to watch "Game of Thrones," so now the network's streaming service is making it easier, with no cable subscription required.
"Game of Thrones" has been a hit series since its premiere so this should compel fans into downloading the HBO Now app, which, according to the New York Times, can give them access to new episodes faster, especially because this is said to be the best season yet.
For those who remain unconvinced, here's why the show is better than ever this year:
1) It will clean up the carnage from the last season and we will find Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) on his way to Meereen and meet Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), but it's not yet sure how deep into her vast army Tyrion is going to find himself into. Vanity Fair pointed out that Daenery's storyline will stall in this part of the book and she's finally going to be part of the cutthroat world of Westertos and not as isolated as she had been the past few seasons.
2) The Stark girls, Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Arya (Maisie Williams), will finally find a foothold in their lives, as a darker Sansa steps out to be the lady of the Vale and Arya will finally get to go on the mysterious adventures in Braavos. According to USA Today, we might also see her as Cat of the Canals this season as well, but we have to wait and see about that.
3) King's Landing is also going to be very interesting despite Tyrion's escape as the Sand Snakes are going to arrive, and will be among the most interesting newcomers, although according to "Game of Thrones" fansite Winter Is Coming, they will not be appearing until nearly halfway in the season. However, like their father Oberyn Martell, they are skilled in combat and thirsty for some Lannister blood. After all, they're out for vengeance.
There are definitely a lot of other things to look forward to in Westeros, including a controversial scene from Cersei (Lena Heady) among other things, so with these potential spoilers in mind, do you think you should download HBO Now to make sure you catch the episodes as soon as they air, or are you really going to wait for that DVD copy to appear in stores later on?
