The second trailer of the awaited seventh episode to the "Star Wars" film franchise should be dropping soon. However, that does not mean that J.J. Abrams and the rest of the team is ready to drop details about how "The Force Awakens" should play out.
According to Screen Rant, hardcore fans are expecting that the next trailer to drop together with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" as it's the perfect venue, considering how big Marvel's own franchise has become in the box office the past few years.
The website also has two sets of spoilers, each breaking down the next trailer in detail, one of which is from Making Star Wars, a site known to be ahead of the news for "The Force Awakens".
Here are the details of the second trailer, as noted by Making Star Wars:
- The teaser runs at about one minute and fifty seconds, just under two minutes.
- Han, Leia, Artoo and Threepio.
- A crashed Star Destroyer on the sand planet.
- We do see Yavin in the teaser.
- We see a shot of Finn with a blue lightsaber.
- There is a shot of Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), the chrome Stormtrooper, very briefly.
- We do see Kylo Ren's helmeted face.
- We see Poe Dameron shoot down a TIE fighter.
- A shot of Finn and Poe walking past one another at the base.
- Rey is in a few shots, looking at TIEs overhead.
- There is a shot of Poe Dameron, Artoo-Detoo, See-Threepio, and a CGI character (Rose).
- BB-8 socketed in the back of an X-wing.
- Kylo Ren's Imperial shuttle flies by with TIE escorts to the Star Destroyer (it is the one MakingStarWars.net wrote about).
- Star Destroyer(s).
- The Falcon.
- X-wing fighters flying in a V-shape formation.
- Darth Vader's (burned Endor) helmet sitting on a podium.
- No Serkis.
- No Luke.
Another version was also teased from L-R, and considering how vastly different they are, it has been noted that there is no "right answer" as of the moment and much of "The Force Awakens" still remains to be a mystery even to the most hardcore of fans.
Whichever site is right in its predictions will remain to be seen, and hopefully, determined at the screening of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" this May.
What do you think of the trailer 2 breakdown?
"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" will be in theaters on December 18.
