Samsung and Microsoft have been teasing new gadgets lately, but before they could make formal their announcements, LG has released the latest renders of its G4 model. Now, it looks like it can match last year's G4 Stylus release, and may just probably blow Samsung's S6 out of the water. Or so BGR says.

The Vice President of the IT/Mobile Development Group at LG Display, Byeong-Koo Kim said, "The company has maximized the essential display functions for mobile devices from touch to color gamut by using the latest technology and accumulated expertise. LG Display will continue to develop products that can offer the best user experience not only for smartphones, but also for tablets and notebook PCs."

With this, LG has developed a new model of smartphone that will compete on the market. According to Phone Arena, a 5.5-inch display with a 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (534 ppi), a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and a 16-megapixel/8-megapixel main/selfie camera combo LG product will be announced on April 28 in New York.

LG G4 is said to be the phone of the future. With its Quad HD display, it will surely keep pace with today's hottest and most popular smartphones. According to BGR, the release described the new display as one that "represents a quantum jump in terms of key features, including color gamut, brightness, contrast ratio, touch function, power consumption and thinness."

Its popularity before its release was proven when case-maker Spigen indulged the viewers with its physical features in its various wrapper lines.

According to Phone Arena, the image was developed according to the company's lineup (LG G3) from last year and the changes were mostly based on the leaked LG G4 press renders: a large cutout for the front-facing camera's lens, and the now signature layout at the back, a round camera ring surrounded by a volume rocker and a raised power key in the middle of it to the south, and cutouts for a dual-tone LED flash and laser auto focus system on the left and right. A grill for the loudspeaker is also seen on the bottom left side of the device's back.

Aside from that, the new LG G4 also changed the way it launches its camera, following in Samsung's footsteps by the way the program is launched in the S6.

The new LG G4 is upgrading its software. Android Authority also noted that the Smart Bulletin which launched the G3 (latest G series of LG) is making a profit by combining together LG's various proprietary features in one, akin to Google Now as the default Google launcher.

In addition, minor improvements, such as changing to double tapping to turn the volume down instead of long-press, significantly helped improve the model since the said feature is quite slow in G3.

Release date and price range have not been confirmed yet, but both should be announced in the coming weeks. With all these significant upgrades, do you think you'd like to get your own LG G4?
