Sofia Vergara's killer bod is easily the most enviable feat of the actress, which is why it comes as a surprise when the Colombian-American beauty revealed the downside of being a bombshell.

In an interview with British newspaper The Sun, Vergara said that it isn't always easy having an attractive face and a voluptuous figure.

"I realized that having a good figure is an advantage on TV and getting attention and publicity," the actress, who stars as Gloria Pritchett on the ABC comedy "Modern Family," told the paper quoted by Daily Mail. "But it also means you can't play more normal kinds of roles. I can't just play an ordinary girl. So I try to find roles that let me capitalize on my looks and my personality and advance my career that way."

The 42-year-old brunette beauty also shared that she had to deal with a lot of unwanted attention from men when she was younger for her striking appearance, Daily Mail wrote. She also believes that she "rushed into marriage aged 18 to avoid unwanted advances." Vergara married her first husband Jose Gonzalez in 1991 and separated two years later. The former couple has a 22-year-old son named Manolo.

"When I was a teenager I was skinny but with big boobs. It was a relief for me when I met my (first) husband and then I didn't have to deal with being chased as much," she continued, as reported by the news outlet.

Named as the Most Desirable Woman of 2012, Vergara is set to appear in the upcoming action comedy film "Hot Pursuit" alongside Reese Witherspoon, Daily Mail reports. The flick centers on "uptight and by the book cop (Witherspoon) who tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow of a drug boss (Vergara) as they race through Texas, pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen," Coming Soon wrote. "Hot Pursuit" is slated for release in theaters on May 8, 2015.

Sofia Vergara to Wed Joe Manganiello in Summer?

For months, rumors about Vergara and boyfriend Joe Manganiello's upcoming wedding have been circulating around. Some reports are even claiming that the wedding has been postponed due to the couple's commitments in promoting their respective films - Vergara for "Hot Pursuit" and Manganiello for "Magic Mike XXL."

At the "Modern Family" PaleyFest Panel held last month in Los Angeles, Vergara put a stop to the speculations surrounding her impending marriage.

"I don't know, how can something be postponed when it has never been set? It's really funny," the actress told Extra. "It's always a lot of fun for girls to plan the wedding."

Despite numerous speculations directed towards the wedding, Vergara clarified that preparations for the big event are still ongoing and that "a lot of people" is expected to attend, Fox News Latino wrote. NDTV noted that the couple was recently seen looking at potential wedding venues at Palm Beach.
