The Seattle Seahawks (10-1), who are looking to capture home-field advantage throughout the playoffs as well as become the first team to clinch a playoff berth this season, host the New Orleans Saints (9-2), who are also seeking to capture the top-seed in the postseason

Both teams are undefeated at home this season with both franchise quarterbacks playing lights-out for their respective teams. Seattle QB Russell Wilson is currently sixth in the league in passer rating at 105.1, and is sporting a 117.0 passer rating playing at home. The Seahawks are on a six-game winning streak coming out of their bye week, last beating on the Vikings 41-20 with Wilson going 13-of-18 passing for 230 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

"We haven't done anything yet," said Wilson in regards to Seattle's winning streak and current record. "10-1 is great but our goal is to win the whole thing," Wilson said of Seattle's stellar start to the season."

Saints QB Brees has been just as good as Wilson, compiling 107.3 quarterback rating, fourth best in the league. Brees is also second in the NFL in passing yards (3,647) and touchdowns (28) with only Denver Broncos Peyton Manning putting up better numbers.

The Saints are a game behind the Seahawks for the NFCs best record but have the streaking Carolina Panthers on their heels for the NFC South division lead. The Saints are on a three-game winning streak, getting by the Atlanta Falcons 17-13 last week, with Brees throwing 23-of-33 passes for 278 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.

Brees will be facing one of the best defenses in the National Football League (NFL), leading the league with 16 interceptions and a league high with 26 turnovers but will be without CBs Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner, who are out for extended periods of time, with Thurmond serving a four-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy and Browner out with an injury while also appealing his suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

"We're still trying to work through it," said Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll. "I've always found myself looking for guys that maybe other people don't see something special in and we take a chance on a guy here or there that needs some extra consideration and care. Sometimes guys, they have issues and things pop up."
