'Halo 5: Guardians' Xbox One Release Date, Gameplay & Trailer: New Leaked 'Halo Online' Footage Out!

Gamers and fans will surely be delighted this fall as "Halo 5: Guardians" was announced to be released in October.
On its Twitter page, Microsoft's Xbox team said that the "Master Chief returns October 27th." This means that it will be seven more months of waiting for gamers eagerly anticipating for the upcoming release.
Time said in a report that the announcement coincided with the release of a teaser trailer. It added that there is also a new Twitter hashtag, #HUNTtheTRUTH, which is expectd to be utilized until its release to maintain the hype for the game.
A similar IGN article discussed what happened towards the end of the trailer.
"It appears that Locke is addressing the statue, but as he approaches, we see Master Chief, with a massive hole in the upper left shoulder of his armor, sitting wounded at the base of the statue," IGN added in its report.
From this point, it was observed that Locke blamed the Chief for the destruction that happened in their surrounding noting that he was previously known as humanty's savior but now he is a betrayer.
"He switches to his pistol and the commercial ends as Locke draws on Chief, and then we see a Halo 5 logo screen and a release date: 10.27.15," IGN added.
It was also reported that a second advertisement came out about a hour after showing similar events but this time from the perspective of Master Chief who walked towards Locke and asked him if "it was all worth it." The second ad ended with Chief aiming his weapon on Locke.
A similar PC Mag report said that fans and gamers will have to find out in October who is the hunter and the hunted.
"We wanted 'Halo 5: Guardians' to be the game that pays off the epic promise of the Halo universe in scope and scale and drama," Microsoft 343 Industries head Bonnie Ross said, as quoted by PC Mag. Microsoft 343 oversees the Halo franchise development.
Ross added that they aimed to amaze the players with the worlds and battles they will be able to experience in the game.
While waiting for the release of the game, PC Mag said Halo fans can check HuntTheTruth.tumblr.com for them to hear a new narrative audio series featuring Keegan-Michael Key as Benjamin Giraud. According to the same report, Giraud is a war journalist who discovered new revelations about Master Chief.
These new information on the Chief will reportedly make listerners think twice on how they see "humanity's greatest hero." Fans can expect that a new episode of the audio series will be released in the weeks leading to the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June.
