Jennifer Lopez and Rihanna's new animated film titled "Home" has become a huge blockbuster hit.

DreamWorks' animated alien adventure offering, which also stars Jim Parsons and Steve Martin, got an A CinemaScore and "has earned $20.1 million from only 10 markets, including a $9.1 million debut in the U.K.," Billboard reported.

"Home" also surpassed "Get Hard," a comedy starring Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, while the sequel "Insurgent" placed third with $22.1 million, the Associated Press wrote.

"Home" tells the adventures of a teenage girl who managed to avoid capture during an alien invasion, which led her to meet the misfit and banished Boov alien named Oh. The animated film was based on Adam Rex's 2007 children's book "The True Meaning of Smekday," AP explained.

RiRi, J. Lo Collaboration in the Works?

Rihanna doesn't keep her dream collaboration with Lopez a secret. In an interview with Extra TV, the "Diamonds" singer gushed about her "Home" co-star and declared that she wants to do a duet with her. According to RiRi, she needs to improve one part of herself first in order to come close with the Latina beauty in their would-be music video.

"I would need some butt pads for that video, though," the pop star shared. "I mean, really? She's shutting down 20-year-olds at fortysomething. It's unheard of."

Lopez wasn't against with the idea of collaborating with Rihanna, either. Speaking with E! News, the "On the Floor" songstress said she would "absolutely" do a duet with the Barbadian beauty.

"I'm a huge Rihanna fan...and I feel like she's such a girl's girl, which I love, because I'm a girl's girl and she seems very sweet. And I love the edginess about her and I think she did a really great job in this film," she told the news outlet.

'R8' Latest News & Updates

Details about RiRi's upcoming eighth studio album have been scarce. Recent reports, however, have provided new info about the artist's highly anticipated new batch of songs. According to the singer, she wanted to focus on music that felt "real," "soulful," and "forever," as reported by Billboard

She added, "I wanted songs that I could perform in 15 years; I wanted an album that I could perform in 15 years. Not any songs that were burnt out. I find that when I get on stage now, I don't want to perform a lot of my songs because they don't feel like me. So I want to make songs that are timeless."

Kanye West, who Rihanna collaborated with on "FourFiveSeconds," is the album's executive producer, Capital FM reported. The album will also feature Florence + The Machine's frontwoman Florence Welch and Adele's regular song collaborator Paul Epworth. "Love Me Again" singer John Newman, Ne-Yo, and Scottish artist Calvin Harris are also on board.
