Friday may just make or break former NFL star Aaron Hernandez, who is being tried for the murder of Odin Lloyd, since the former's fiancee will be called to testify on the witness stand.

Sports Illustrated said that Shayannah Jenkins may "hold the key" for prosecutors to prove that Hernandez had something to do with Lloyd's death. The prosecution reportedly theorized that Hernandez told Jenkins to dispose the murder weapon, believed to be a .45-caliber Glock pistol, through coded text messages.

A day after Lloyd's murder, video footages at the home of Hernandez showed Jenkins getting out of the house with a trash bag on her hand then packing it to the trunk of a car parked on the driveway before driving away, Sports Illustrated reported. The site added that the bag seemed to contain a "box-like" item and that this could have been an ammunition box though there are also other possibilities on what was inside the trash bag.

The said bag was never recovered by the authorities, strengthening the suspicion that it contained the murder weapon.

Sports Illustrated noted that there are suspicions Hernandez ordered his fiancee to buy off individuals who could potentially testify against him.

According to Yahoo Sports, once Jenkins confirm all these allegations then the "case is over." But the same report noted that she has remained loyal to Hernandez all throughout the the issue, though it was observed that she has been absent from the trial proceedings for more than two weeks already.

The two have so much history together with them dating since high school, living together starting 2010 and having a 2-year-old daughter together.

Yahoo Sports also noted that she, at one point, found herself "a tense few feet away" from younger sister, Shaneah, who dated Lloyd for a year.

"This isn't just a case about the alleged crimes of an NFL star; it's about one sister whose boyfriend is accused of slaying the others,'" added the Yahoo Sports report.

Superior Court Judge E. Susan Garsh reportedly offered Jenkins "full immunity on the charges" if she decides to honestly spill it all out since her testimony would be the last chip to this trial.

There could also be a possibility that she will refuse to testify, but Yahoo Sports said Garsh could order to take her into custody and bring her into the courtroom.

Another probable scenario is that Hernandez's girlfriend could testify but provide "evasive or uncertain" answers.

For the legal counsels of the former NFL star, these theories are "completely unfounded and speculative", indicating in the Sports Illustrated article that the prosecution seemed to have made up a storyline from a movie to make the jurors believe that Hernandez is guilty.

But all these theories and possibilties will be proven in the coming days as the trial is set to end soon with the prosecution expected to rest its case probably next week.
