On the latest episode of horror-drama "Dracula," Mina has a confusing dream about Grayson, which pulls her closer to the vampire's seductiveness and further away from her intended.
In "The Devil's Waltz," Mina (Jessica De Gouw) has a dream that Grayson, a.k.a Count Dracula (Jonathan Rhys Meyers), comes to her and tells her not to marry Jonathan (Oliver Jackson-Cohen), and then begins to have sex with her. This confuses Mina, who is about to have her engagement party that night.
Meanwhile, Renfield (Nonso Anozie) has been missing for nine days. Jonathan finds Renfield's notebook, which he returns to Grayson. Grayson follows the scent on the notebook, and finds that Renfield has been tortured in the basement of the metallurgy. The torturer has been asking Renfield one question: who does Grayson love? Grayson then proceeds to kill all of his torturers.
Grayson arrives late to Mina and Jonathan's engagement party, which he is hosting. To thank Grayson for his generosity, Jonathan offers Grayson the first dance with Mina. When they dance, their undeniable chemistry is seen by both Jonathan and Lucy (Katie McGrath). Jonathan cuts in, and Grayson imagines him slitting his throat. He then gives Mina over to her fiance.
Later, Van Helsing (Thomas Kretschmann) and Grayson use a vampire that Grayson created to test the sunlight vaccine. It doesn't work, and the female vampire goes up in flames. Grayson is getting anxious for a cure because people are beginning to wonder why he is never seen in the daylight.
The episode also flash backs to when Grayson and Renfield first met. Renfield was a bartender on a train in America, and Grayson defended men who went to attack him. It turns out that Renfield is a lawyer who joined a firm in the South, but a client was angry that he was black, so he brutally beat him and had him arrested. Grayson took Renfield under his wing, saying that he knows what it's like to live as an outsider.
On the next episode, "Of Monsters and Men," "Browning sets out to prove once and for all that Grayson is the master vampire stalking London by hosting a board meeting outdoors in the sunlight. Grayson and Van Helsing seek to acquire the final component to make their wireless electricity technology a success to be witnessed. Meanwhile, Mina and Harker consummate their love---not knowing that Lord Davenport plots to destroy the object that Grayson loves most...Mina."
