Jordan Brand is expected to make a splash in December with their holiday season special releases, including several retro shoes.

JB is set to kick off the festivities this December with the release of the highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Premier that will be available starting today, Monday, as announced by NikeStore through their post:

"This Air Jordan 1 Retro Hi Premier made its debut in 2008 and is back in 2013. This throwback treatment features smooth leather and suede with a Varsity Red and Dark Army colorway combination. The chenille Swoosh is one of many subtle details that can't be overlooked. Don't miss these throwbacks on Monday, December 2."

This impressive-looking retro shoe will retail at $115 per pair and will be available in select Jordan Brand accounts worldwide.

Aside from the returning edition of the AJ 1 Retro, the Jordan 6 Rings, which was released in a BRED edition last month, will be available in a fresh-looking colorway this December.

The AJ 6 Rings kick, which was made to commemorate Michael Jordan's six NBA championships, will arrive at retailers in Black/Varsity Maize-Cool Grey-Gamma Blue colorway on Dec. 7. Retail price is set at $160 per pair.

Dubbed as the "Gamma Blue" edition of this classic Jordan shoe model, it is widely-believed that this edition has something to do with the NBA team owned by Jordan -- the Charlotte Bobcats.

Jordan recently announced that the Bobcats will become the Charlotte Hornets starting next season and will use the original color scheme the franchise used from 1988-2002 before moving to New Orleans. This edition could be referred to in the future as the "Hornets" edition of the Jordan 6 Rings.

Also included in Jordan Brand's lineup for the first week of December is another edition of the AJ 1 Retro '95, which will also come out in a "Gamma Blue" edition on Dec. 7 for $130 per pair.

The shoe features an all-black upper part combined with blue and maize patent details and outsole. According to solecollector, this shoe will be available at Nike.com, Foot Locker, Finish Line, Champ Sports, Eastbay, and Footaction.

More shoes from Nike and Jordan Brand, both retro kicks and new models, are expected to be unveiled in the next few days as part of their holiday season treat this year.
