Another Air Jordan original colorway pair is set to make its debut this weekend.

The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OGwill soon hit the stores with its white and varsity red combination.

Sneaker News said the Jordan Brand has "set aside" the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG in favor of a low-top model which reportedly arrived during the middle of February with a first series of colors.

The same article said that the first colorway which became available was called "Bred" then it was followed by a White-Grey shoe combination in late February.

According to Kicks on Fire, the Bred colorway resembles the classic Chicago Bulls color combination - Varsity Red, Black and White. These colors are also very common among many Air Jordan shoes released in the past. It also has a Nike Air tag stitched on the tongue as part of the OG theme and the Air Jordan Wings logo which can be found on the back of the heel. It came out in the market last February 14 for $140.

Baller Status said Bred was remastered but it still kept some of the details of the original Air Jordan 1 Retro Low to maintain the identity it has been known for.

The upcoming release by the end of March, according to Nike.com, will feature a clean leather upper with a Varsity Red Swoosh. Its appearance is the classic look with the signature Wings logo on its heel and the OG Nike Air logo on the tongue.

Kicks on Fire said, in a separate report, that the release of the shoe is also part of the 30th year anniversary of the Jordan Brand this year. The Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG was first launched in 1985 and is now expected to be a great addition to the summer collection of fans of the Nike brand.

Another Sneaker News report added that the only thing missing on this low-top model is a "metallic sheen" to the Swoosh branding but it noted that it will still give traditionalists something to look forward to.

The shoe will be available in Nike stores and outlets worldwide on March 28 at 10 a.m. It is priced at $130 but Nike.com said there is a "1 per customer" limit during the release.

Fans of the Air Jordan brand are expected to flock to stores this coming weekend as they have anticipated for the release of the new colorway of the shoe. The red and white color will also be a reminder of an old shoe model which people consider vintage and would be willing to purchase for the given price.
