Ariana Grande is a diva in her own right, but that does not mean she can't go out of the box and perform in the style of a completely different singer on "The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon".

Admitting that it was her very first talk-show appearance, Fallon decided to put Grande on the spot when he asked her about doing impersonations, particularly a Celine Dion one. Grande gamely showed off her singing chops as she, together with the host, put their own spin on Celine's duet with Peabo Bryson from Disney's "Beauty and the Beast," and she totally nailed it, French-Canadian accent and chest thump included.

According to E! News, the 21-year-old singer took a page from Christina Aguilera, who last month did her own imitations of Britney Spears, Shakira, and Cher on the same show.

She also showed that she had a great sense of humor and that she still has her comedy chops, when she appeared and sang in Fallon's popular sketch, "Ew!" where they both star as teenage stars on a mock show, and where Grande "literally" died when her Instagram post only got three likes - one from her father, which by the way, is a real dilemma for teenagers, it seems.

In the segment, a bubblegum-popping Grande ditched her signature cat ears and skimpy clothing, as she played a character named Alexa, who wears colored streamers with her pigtails and dressed in a dress with pink flamingos on the front, with a unicorn bag that is oh-so-cute. She and Fallon then took part in a sing-off, which Grande won, hands down, of course.

She also bonded with "Sara", enlightening the Fallon's persona as to which things are cool, and which are "EW!", and for the record, hummus, neck pillows, and venti lattes are in the latter category, because of course, Grande would prefer a grande.

In other Grande news, the pop diva has been touring, and is currently using her New York dates to promote pet adoption, as noted by the Daily Mail. She announced on Thursday that she sponsored 15 dogs via Barkbox and Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, and allowing her fans to take home pups of their choice.
