The iPad Pro continues to build hype as latest case renders suggest the inclusion of four speakers. Cutouts are conveniently distributed over the cover's top and bottom sides.
As told by Phone Arena, the leaked 3D images confirm earlier speculations, which claim such number of speakers. In addition, the concept has openings for the camera, power button, second microphone and volume adjustment.
Previously thought to arrive at Apple's "Spring Forward" event, the iPad Pro is currently pegged to launch in the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). The Apple event is expected to take place early in June.
For those who haven't heard, the iPad Pro -- aka iPad Air Plus -- is Apple's purported 12.9-inch slate, touted to pack specs such as an A8X processor, 2 GB of RAM and Touch ID.
A 12.9-inch form makes the iPad Pro Apple's largest tablet yet, if reports are to be believed. However, from MacRumors' roundup article, the device is rather suggested to start from 12.2 inches.
Either way, the device measures closely to the 13-inch MacBook Air.
In terms of price, TechRadar predicted that the iPad Pro sells "somewhere between the iPad Air and MacBook Air."
The iPad Air currently starts from $399 for its space gray and silver models. The MacBook Air, on the other hand, starts from $899 for its 11-inch version; the 13-inch model retails from $999.
TechRadar also cited leaked schematics, which put the iPad Pro at a measurement of 305.31 mm x 220.8 mm x 7 mm. If this holds truth, the device owns a thickness that falls between that of the iPhone 6 (6.9 mm) and the iPhone 6 Plus (7.1 mm). It may also be thicker than the iPad Air 2, which owns a depth of 6.1 mm.
Another interesting feature expected in the iPad Pro is a stylus. This insight comes from KGI Securities' Ming-Chi Kuo. Know Your Mobile took note of the analysts remarks, which said, "We believe that the stylus could improve the experience of users, and will likely help Apple develop specific customer groups such as the corporate sector and educational institutions."
The outlet cited greater specs such as an A9 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 11,000 mAh battery. Purported storage includes 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB options.
The iPad Pro joins this year's list of alleged Apple devices, alongside the iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPad Air 3, iPad Mini 4 and sixth-generation iPod touch. So far, the Cupertino giant has unveiled the Retina MacBook, the 12-inch resurrection of the single-word branding. To date, it is the thinnest MacBook ever built.
