There's good news for fans lusting after Bradley Cooper, but for the actor, not so much.

According to a source cited by PEOPLE, the "American Sniper" actor, 40, has split amicably with his 23-year-old girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse before the Oscars Awards in January.

The pair have been relatively private about their relationship, but are usually seen together in events like the SAG Awards and premieres.

Last year, Waterhouse said in an interview with Elle UK, "I don't talk about my boyfriend because it's boring." She explained, At least, that's what I decided to tell you when you asked. I do think whatever I say will sound weird. But the truth is, if I start talking about him, I probably won't be able to stop. And I don't really want to talk about him, you know?"

Ace Showbiz noted that Cooper started dating Waterhouse in 2013, but before he started dating the model-turned actress, he was married to Jennifer Esposito, who already tied the knot with model Louis Dowler in 2014. He also dated "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress Zoe Saldana, but is also happily married with her husband, Marco Perego, with whom she has twin sons.

His relationship with Waterhouse may not have worked out, but it wouldn't stop him from having another romance, as he admitted in 2013 that he's a romantic at heart. He said in an interview with The Mirror, "I consider myself to be a romantic. I love the company of a great woman. I think a relationship works best when both partners have a certain ease in the way they relate to each other and there's a level of harmony that goes beyond just physical attraction."

It seems that the former couple is moving on with their lives. E! News reported that Cooper was recently spotted in Las Vegas with Jonah Hill and Miles Teller after attending an Elton John concert. He is also busy with his career, as he is set to appear in "Aloha", a Cameron Crowe-directed film with Emma Stone, which will be out in theaters on May 29. He is also filming Netflix's remake of "Wet Hot American Summer" and "Joy" with Jennifer Lawrence, at the same time producing a film called "Arms & the Dudes."

Waterhouse, on the other hand, is busy with her career, and will be appearing alongside Shailene Woodley in the "Insurgent", the second installment of the "Divergent" franchise that will hit theaters this weekend, E! News added.

According to multiple reports, neither Cooper's nor Waterhouse's reps commented on their split.
