It’s a dark time. November temperatures forebode a chilling winter. The holiday season is approaching its close. In the blink of an eye, it will be January. The excitement of winter will be gone and we’ll be left with nothing more than the cold, dead months that follow. To make matters even worse, the hit series “Castle” has entered its midseason hiatus. In the meantime, fans dig for any details surrounding the second half of Season 6, and all signs point to a thrilling conclusion.

In a new teaser for episode 11, the show reverts back to the beginning of Season 6, putting Castle’s engagement commitment into question. In the clip, Beckett tells Castle, “I’m worried about your commitment to our engagement.” A reporter later asks him about his relationship to his ex-wife.

In regards to the overall theme of the second half of the season, creator Andrew W. Marlowe is still unclear. Will its main focus return to Castle and Beckett’s relationship, or will it take a backseat to Jenny Tyson, aka 3XK (The Triple Killer)?

“If we have a compelling enough reason,” the show will redirect itself for the second half of the season as it’s done in the past, adding that the writers have yet to really hash out February’s episodes, TVLine reports. “I’m not ruling it out, but I’m not ruling it in.”

“Castle” Season 6 will return to ABC January 6.
