Becky G has finally settled those rumors claiming she is dating fellow pop star Austin Mahone.

In an appearance at one of the On the Road to the RDMA tour stops, Becky G confirmed that she enjoys hanging out with Mahone, but she didn't clarify if there's something more to their friendship.

"He's a great guy!" she said, as quoted by Latina. "I enjoy spending a lot of time with him. He was in L.A working on his album, so we hung out a lot and it was cool! It's nice to get to know people who are the same age as you that do the same things, because it's like a different level of understanding."

Mahone previously dated Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello. Since then, the "Mmm Yeah" singer has been romantically linked with Becky G, whose real name is Rebbeca Marie Gomez. In another interview, Becky G also insisted that she is not dating Mahone.

"I mean, he's cute. He's super-cute, he's good-looking, that's for sure. But no, there's nothing like that," the 18-year-old "Shower" singer said, as reported by Sugar Scape.

Rumors about the two also fired up when Becky G posted on Instagram, a snapshot of the bouquet of red roses she received on her birthday, captioned with: "#MyBae." When asked if Mahone was the one who gave it to her, she answered coyly, "Maybe. I got a lot of flowers on my birthday."

On that evening, Mahone also took to Instagram to greet the "Can't Stop Dancin" singer. In the photo, Becky G playfully sits atop a wooden wagon while Mahone wheels her around.

A report from Twist Magazine also pointed out that Mahone and Becky G enjoy the same type of workout. In a photo he posted on Instagram, he was featured kick boxing for the first time, a sport which his rumored flame was also fond of.

Meanwhile, according to a report from Latina, Mahone recently revealed that he is working with the Mexican singer on a new track.

"We did a song together for her album," the 18-year-old pop star said, as quoted by the news outlet. "It came out really nice and cool. I've been friends with her for awhile and we've been talking about doing a song together, so we finally made it happen."

Becky G is set to perform at the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards or RDMAs for the second consecutive time, Access Hollywood reported. The event, which will be held on April 25 in Los Angeles, will see the young singer nominated in the Stuck In Our Heads - Catchiest New Song and Artist with the Best Style categories for her tracks "Shower" and "You're So Fancy," respectively.
