"F1 2015" is expected to be released this summer and racing fans are eager to know what new features the game will offer and what type of cars will be available to the players.
According to VCPost, the game, which will run at 60fps, will be heading to Xbox One and PS4 consoles in early June and it promises "impressive HD graphics resolution."
CrossMap said the recently released screenshots which can be found online "displays an impressive and upgraded visual quality." The same report added that the screens were from "confidential internal development e-mail" and was confirmed by Codemaster, the game franchiser.
Codemaster also reportedly responded to a query saying that the images were still a work-in-progress.
"At this time, all content is subject to approval by Formula One Management and the teams. The ongoing quest for 60fps continues. On PS4 we're hitting around 45-55fps at 1920x1080... There are still plenty of optimizations to be made on both the CPU and GPU side and this is ongoing," Codemaster was quoted by CrossMap as saying.
The "F1 2015" is tagged as "truly stunning" since it will run in an estimated 45-55 frames per second at 1920x1080 on PS4. CrossMap also said that there are earlier reports that the game will be re-engineered from the ground up to be used for new-gen consoles.
The same report added that the remodelled circuit in Mexico City will return to the calendar this year as part of the game and that there are ambitions to make versions for Xbox One and PS4 with this year's upcoming release.
VC Post claimed that the developer of the game barely has three months to finish the game if they are really aiming to release it this summer.
For the cars to be used in the game, VC Post said that "the game won't be shipping with the full line of 2015 cars" but will go with the complete 2014 season with the addition of a fiedl of Hybrid 2015 cars.
"These hybrid cars will be replaced by the 2015 cars afterwards through a title update after the game has initiated the launch and it is unclear if this update will be free of charge," VC Post added.
Codemasters reportedly has a tradition to schedule their F1 game releases every September and October but VC Post said that players can expect it to be a few months earlier this year.
Surely, players are eager to know when this new game will be released and available to them as it would really step up gaming experience especially with the visuals it promises to provide gamers. The gaming world is also eager to know if it will also live up to the hype and expectation of the public.
