Gisele Bündchen will hold her last catwalk show in the São Paulo Fashion Week in her native country of Brazil in April.

Brazilian fashion publication Moda Estadão announced the news on Twitter. The fashion show will see Bündchen modeling for esteemed clothing company Colcci, E! News reports.

Despite her impending retirement from the runway, Bündchen's followers will still see the supermodel endorsing various products and brands, as well as modeling for TV, magazine, and other ad campaigns, says Boston Herald.

"While commemorating her 20th career anniversary, Gisele Bündchen will also celebrate her last walk for Fashion Week shows," the Brazilian model's camp said in a statement, as quoted by Boston Herald. "The top model, who has walked for the most prestigious brands in the business, such as Chanel, Alexander Wang, Balenciaga and Givenchy and has cut back her catwalk appearances over the years, will walk her final fashion show in her native country during the São Paulo Fashion Week."

The statement concluded, "Gisele will continue working on special projects and also give more time to her No. 1 priority: her family."

Bündchen is married to New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The couple has two children - Benjamin, 5, and Vivian, 2. Bündchen is also stepmom to Brady's 7-year-old son, Jack.

The 34-year-old beauty marked her modeling career as the prestigious lingerie brand Victoria's Secret No. 1 "Angel," Boston Herald recalls. Since then, she has endorsed popular brands such as Colgate, Pantene, and H&M. Because of her various contracts with high-end endorsements, she was the "world's highest earning model" title for eight years in a row, according to Latin Times.

Back in September, she was featured in Under Armour's "I Will What I Want" ad campaign, which drew attention to Bündchen's enviable bod in workout clothes. According to E! News, the ad aimed to show the model's "raw athleticism and ability to tune out public opinion and stay focused on her goals."

Bündchen also took to Instagram to thank her 4.3 million followers for supporting her. The photo, which featured the supermodel rocking a white string bikini at a beach, was captioned: "Thank you to all my dear fans who dedicate your time to leave a message here. Thank you for all the love. A kiss in your heart and have a beautiful day!!!!" The snapshot also showed two dogs and a heart drawn in the sand with the word 'grateful' written inside it.
