Brock Lesnar will face Roman Reigns in the upcoming WrestleMania 31 match. The question is: Is Reigns powerful enough to beat Lesnar?
WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley told Wrestling News Source that watching Reigns fight inside the ring this time could be "really interesting."
"Even though I was pulling for Daniel Bryan to win the Rumble, as soon as I found out it was going to be Roman Reigns I thought there would be some good possibilities and stories that could go on to make it really interesting. If I was commissioner still I would try to do my best to put the matches and the guys in them over as much as I could. That was always my goal with whatever I did. If there was or is a change of re-balancing of power in the future, I hope they would go with someone who could give the show a different feel. I think those shifts are really important every once in a while," Foley explained.
An International Business Times (IBT) report said that Reigns is ready to face Lesnar and he believes that he "matches up well" with the current WWE world heavyweight champion.
"I am feeling good about it and I think I am going to be the toughest opponents he has run into in a while. We match up well in terms of height, explosiveness and strength. I think it is going to be a hard hitting, super aggressive match that will be exciting for everyone," Reigns was quoted by the IBT as saying.
In an interview with The National, Reigns also said, "I am raring to go and really cannot wait. It is such a huge event and there are so many things going on. We have a whole week of Axxess ahead. I have never been so busy in my life, but I am super excited and I just cannot wait for it to come around."
The upcoming match will be Reigns' third time on WrestleMania but his first time as a singles star. The National said he was part of The Shield for the first two.
"Going out first in 2013 was great, and we had a good match with the Outlaws last year. This year will be different, being later on the show so I will have to alter my preparations around that, but I am looking forward to it and can't wait," Reigns said of his past WrestleMania experiences.
Happening on March 29, WrestleMania 31 is set to take place at the San Francisco Bay Area at the Levi's Stadium.
Tickets are available from $35 to $1,000 per ticket and can be purchased at www.ticketmaster.com.
