A collaboration between Ricky Martin and Juanes could grace the music scene anytime soon.

The former Menudo singer expressed interest in working on a project with Colombian singer Juanes. According to Fox News Latino, Martin told Juanes that he would like for them to "get together in a recording studio and do a production" after he finished his latest album titled "A Quien Quiera Escuchar."

Aside from his much publicized performances at the Grammy Awards and at the Victoria's Secret Swim Special on CBS, Juanes is set to launch the U.S. leg of his Loco de Amor tour on July 28 in Bakersfield, California, Billboard reported.

The concert tour, which is scheduled for 13 dates, will end in December at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, the news outlet noted. The in demand artist's current single "Juntos" is included in the soundtrack of "McFarland USA."

Martin's album, on the other hand, was released in February and it featured 10 song collaborations with artists such as Pedro Capo, Yotuel Romero, Beatriz Luengo, and David Julca. The album will be "the basis of a concert tour of Colombia next July," Fox News Latino wrote.

The Puerto Rican is also set to shoot a music video for his single "La Mordidita," which will be directed by filmmaker Simón Brand, the news outlet reported. The video will be shot in Cartagena, Colombia.

"Simon convinced me to work in Cartagena. I've never been there, but I think it will be a beautiful thing to show the city to the world on a music video," the singer said, as quoted by Fox News Latino.

The musician has also joined "La Banda" as one of its judges. He and Simon Cowell will serve as the program's executive producers. The talent search could discover the next boy group to follow the steps of One Direction and is set to premiere in September 2015, USA Today wrote.

Ricky Martin Boycotts Dolce and Gabbana

Martin has joined Sir Elton John in boycotting Italian fashion designing duo Dolce and Gabbana (Domenica Dolce and Steffano Gabbana) for their comments regarding same sex parenting. According to Mirror Online, the designers stated during an interview in Italy's Panorama magazine that they oppose gay adoptions, explaining, "The only family is the traditional one."

"No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed," Dolce said, as quoted by Mirror Online. "You are born to a mother and a father - or at least that's how it should be. I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Uteri [for] rent, semen chosen from a catalog."

Martin, who became a father to two boys through gestational surrogacy, followed Sir Elton's steps in criticizing the designers' views. He tweeted: ".@dolcegabbana ur voices R 2powerfull 2B spreading so much h8. Wake up,Its 2015 Luv urselves guys #boycottdolcegabbana."
