Mexican beauty Alejandra Espinoza and her husband Aníbal Marrero are more than happy to show their first son Matteo to the world.

The child, whose full name is Aiden Matteo Marrero Espinoza, was born at 5:28 PM on March 11, weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 20 inches tall, Latin Times reported. In a video message aired on Univision's "El Gordo y la Flaca," Espinoza expressed her gratitude for her fans' never ending support.

The 27-year-old TV presenter said in the video clip that she and her baby are both ready to go home, and that "she's expected to be released from the hospital Friday night or Saturday morning," Latin Times wrote.

Espinoza first thought she wouldn't need an epidural during labor, but she started begging for it when the pain became too unbearable. Even if delivering the baby was painful, she said it was one of the best experiences of her life and she fell in love with her son right away.

"It's not because he's my son, but he's simply spectacular! He's gorgeous! He has a lot of hair, he's identical to his father, and I'll introduce him to you soon," the doting mom said in the video, as quoted by Latin Times.

'Bienvenido, Matteo!'

According to Latin Post, Espinoza was admitted to Mercy Hospital in Miami on Tuesday night. Latin Times explained that the TV host didn't have a normal pregnancy and had to go through treatments in order to conceive.

"Ale's state is excellent, [she] did not have a normal pregnancy, so to speak, but [it's] okay," Espinoza's father, Joseph, said before baby Matteo was born, as reported by Latin Post. He added that he feels both "nervous" and "excited" for his daughter's son.

Marrero is equally excited for the birth of his son. On his Instagram page, he posted a photo of a blue balloon elephant with the words "baby boy" on it. Translated by Latin Post, the snapshot was captioned with: ""@mattemarrero was born! #WelcomeMatteo We've waited so long for your @aleespinozatv and me!!! I'm a dad!!! #thekingisborn !!!"

Entertainment news program "El Gordo y La Flaca" also posted a photo of Espinoza with her newborn baby on Twitter with the hashtag "BienvenidoMatteo."

Espinoza has a bunch of projects ahead of her. Hollywood.com wrote that she is set to host Simon Cowell's upcoming reality and talent program titled "La Banda." The show aims to discover the next Latino boyband.
