"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" will find Alice reuniting with her father in the upcoming episode.

In the episode, which is titled "Bad Blood," Jafar will bring Alice's father to Wonderland in hopes of using him to get Alice to spend another one of her wishes. When Alice reunites with her estranged father, the two begin to heal their damaged father-daughter relationship. As a result, this will force Alice to make a difficult decision, reports EntertainmentOutlook.com.

The episode will also include a flashback of a young Jafar who's emotionally distraught after his mother dies, and gives viewers insight into what drove him to become an unforgiving villain. In the meantime, Jafar has a complicated relationship with his father the Sultan, in present day Wonderland.

According to TV Guide, a spin-off series will feature Barbara Hershey in her popular "Once Upon a Time" role as Cora, The Queen of Hearts. Cora may have been killed off on "Once," where she made life hell for everyone including her daughter Regina, but executive producers revealed over the summer their intentions to introduce the character into Alice's Wonder world.

Hershey is scheduled to appear in just one March episode. Plus, there may be a face-off between Cora and Jafar, played by Hershey's real-life former beau, Naveen Andrews.

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" returns on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
