With WrestleMania 31 set to happen on March 29 at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, there have been discussions that the match will be Brock Lesnar's last victory as he is rumored to be going back to the UFC and rebuild his career as an MMA fighter.
As scheduled, Lesnar will be facing Roman Reigns for the main event of WrestleMania 31 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With this matchup coming, MStarz said that it's possible that Lesnar will continue playing for the WWE despite issues with the organization.
The same report said that Lesnar could have an extra date on his contract after walking out on Monday Night Raw.
The heavyweight champion was already backstage at Raw in Nashville last week but he left because of an alleged dispute with WWE officials, according to WrestleZone. Reports said that Lesnar met with Vince McMahon regarding his contract but their discussion did not seem to go well, which prompted Lesnar to leave.
There are also rumors which claimed that Lesnar's new contract included a part which allows him to fight for the UFC while he is still with the WWE, though WrestleZone mentioned that this was not the specific part of the deal which made Lesnar unhappy.
Wrestlezone clarified that Lesnar's main concern was the deal being offered to him by McMahon.
There are still no clear indications that the issue between the wrestler and the WWE organization has been ironed out but it seems that Lesnar will still be appearing in some WWE events which have been earlier scheduled, including Raw in Pittsburgh on March 9 and Raw in Los Angeles on March 23 because that is what the existing deal dictates, WrestleZone added.
A Wrestling News Source article said that Lesnar's current deal with the WWE will expire after the post Wrestlemania Raw event, noting that the only schedule he could miss is the one on March 16 in Des Moines, Iowa. With the current turn of events, many believe that Lesnar will resign after his WrestleMania stint.
But all of these still remain undetermined as Lesnar and the WWE have not yet released any information after the alleged dispute during a meeting but fans and the entire wrestling industry will have clearer answers once Lesnar's contract expires.
This will also determine if he will remain fighting for the WWE or give UFC another shot. Despite all these issues, Lesnar is bent on giving Reigns a good match and defend his heavyweight title.
Fans are surely anticipating the outcome of the negotiations and the decision of Lesnar on his future with the WWE or the UFC.
