Since this year's NBA Draft is nearing, it's about time to focus and discuss on the many talents and amazing statistics of some of the top prospects.

The following are just a few of the talented students set to make a mark on the NBA once they become part of it:

1. Jahlil Okafor - 19 years old, 6'11", 272 pounds

The center from Duke Blue Devils has a 67 percent field-goal percentage which according to Bleacher Report is a phenomenal feat "considering his usage rate and self-created opportunities." The same report said that he is not a "dunk-or-nothing payer" but has various moves which allows him to make shots even with double-teams blocking him.

"He's used his soft shooting touch and great sense of angles to shoot over opponents and use the glass," Bleacher Report added.

ESPN said Okafor was selected last Sunday as the Atlantic Coast Conference's player of the year, a recognition for his hard work on the court where he would usually average 17.6 points per game.

2. Karl Anthony Towns - 19 years old, 6'11", 248 pounds

Being the frontrunner of the Kentucky Wildcats, Towns is said to be a contender for the No. 1 pick the coming NBA Draft. According to Bleacher Report, he is able to give advantage to the team as a scorer and a shot-blocker. He has a defensive rating of 76.2 which is the top percentage in the NCAA. He has also been credited to be a quick player who can defend his perimeter and offer help to his teammates. RealGM.com said the New York Knicks is scouting Towns to be part of the team.

"The thing I talk about with him is finding the equal push and finishing high on his follow-through, and not short-arming it. When he does that he's pretty effective," said his coach Thad Matta as quoted by Bleacher Report.

4. Emmanuel Mudiay - 19 years old, 6'5", 200 pounds

The point guard for the Guangdong Southern Tigers is a free-throw shooter who can be relied to during critical points in the game. According to DraftExpress, Mudiay was able to play in nine games in China before he suffered an ankle injury which sideline him. But reports revealed that he is working on his shooting and mechanics on the field to revive his three-point shooting prowess and his ability to make points from the free-throw line.

Leading the Arizona Wildcats, Johnson is a great offensive rebounder. Bleacher report said that his instincts, strength, motor and athleticism are what set him apart from the other guys in the draft list. He also has a rebounding percentage of 9.7.
