In a possible attempt to look into the real condition of Formula One race Michael Schumacher, burglars broke into the office of one of his doctors, raising concerns that a stolen laptop may contain all of the information on the racer's condition.

Daily Mail said men broke into the office of Dr. Johannes Peil, a well-known physician of Schumacher for many years already. Peil is also reportedly part of the team closely monitoring the condition of Schumacher in his home near lake Geneva after the ski accident a at the French Alps in 2013.

The same report said that the clinic in Germany was possible broken into between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning and the burglars gained entry through an open cellar door.

Aside from the laptop, some reports said that money, some prescription forms and perfurme were also stolen from the clinic.

An International Business Times article said that Schumacher's family is ready to take legal actions if the medical files will be made public.

A similar incident also happened last year, when a helicopter rescue worker was arrested for allegedly stealing important medical documents of Schumacher. The suspect, however, was found hanging inside a Zurich jail cell in an apparent suicide days after.

Recovery has been reportedly slow for Schumacher. Daily Mail even said that there are reports which claim that the racer "remains mute and unable to move."

Schumacher sustained the injuries by the end of 2013 when he was skiing with his son. He hit a rock which caused him to lose control, falling 34 feet to another rock head first.

"He smashed his head on the bolder. The force of the collision shattered his helmet. The footage recorded on a camera attached to his helmet was undamaged," Daily Mail added.

An audio and video footage of the full incident was investigated by the police to gather additional details on what really happened. Prosecutor Patrick Quincy ruled that there was no foul play involved and that it was clearly an accident.

The prosecutor, according to Daily Mail, also cleared the ski resort, noting that the piste in the area was clearly marked and that it was Schumacher's personal decision to leave the ski run.

Until now, there are still no clear reports on the current condition of Schumacher but it has been repeatedly said that his family is having a hard time balancing their finances because of the amount of money spent on the racer's therapy and medications.

Daily Mail said that Schumacher's family has already sold his Norwegian mountain home for £2million to add to his medical budget.
