Jennifer Lopez has been sharing behind-the-scenes footage from her upcoming music video, "Feel the Light," the official soundtrack of the actress' animated film "Home."
On Tuesday, March 4, the pop star and mother-of-two gave her 12.1 million followers on Instagram a sneak peek of the music video, Latina reported. In the snapshots, Lopez is seen in a futuristic white body suit while standing in front of green screens. She is also sporting lavender eye make-up with glittering stars among them.
Another photo shows the 45-year-old entertainer with her back to the camera. What's stunning about this shot is her massive five strand braid extension that reaches her hips. Check out the photos below.
Lopez also released the lyric video for "Feel the Light" recently, which features footages of the "On the Floor" hitmaker recording the clip. The lyric video also showcases scenes from the Rihanna-starrer "Home," which is slated to come out in theaters on March 27, 2015.
Aside from Lopez, the 3D motion picture also features the voices of Rihanna, Jim Parsons, and Steve Martin with Tim Johnson in the director's chair, Movie Insider reported. "Home" is distributed by 20th Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation and is based on Adam Rex's 2007 children's book "The True Meaning of Smekday."
The film's synopsis reads: "When Earth is taken over by the overly-confident Boov, an alien race in search of a new place to call home, all humans are promptly relocated, while all Boov get busy reorganizing the planet. But when one resourceful girl, Tip (Rihanna), manages to avoid capture, she finds herself the accidental accomplice of a banished Boov named Oh (Parsons). The two fugitives realize there's a lot more at stake than intergalactic relations as they embark on the road trip of a lifetime."
Speaking about the upcoming flick, Parsons said that the core of the story of "Home" focuses on people overcoming ignorance in the most unexpected of ways.
"Through their journey in trying to save the earth together, they really learn how to talk to each other and, more importantly, how to listen to each other and they become very close. And it's something that crept up on me," the "Big Bang Theory" actor said, as quoted by Indie Wire.
In February, Rihanna released the first song off the movie's soundtrack titled "Towards the Sun," Rolling Stone wrote. The track showcases "a more optimistic and brighter side of Rihanna than darker recent albums," particularly the singer's falsetto. "Towards the Sun" can be downloaded on iTunes.
Billboard reported that aside from providing music to the "Home" soundtrack, Rihanna was also involved in the selection process of the album, which also features "Break the Rules" singer Charli XCX.
