After gorging your second (or third) helping of turkey, an American Thanksgiving still wouldn't be complete if we didn't spend hours (or days) in front of the TV watching marathons of our favorite shows and movies.

Just in case you're not sure where to turn, here's a list of what will be on TV on the holiday.

TV Shows:

Cartoon Network's "Adventure Time" will bring laughs for the whole family, starting at 2 p.m. and ending at 10 p.m., reports the IBTimes.

If you can't get enough of the bad boys on "Cops" and you don't mind having the catchy theme song lodged in your head all weekend, then turn to Spike to watch 12 hours of the show form 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

If you love "Family Feud," then you're in luck because GSN is airing a 12 hour marathon from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The all-American classic comedy sitcom "Friends " will air on TBS airs from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 

Check out "How I Met Your Mother" with Barney and the gang on FXX from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Watch "Modern Family" with the family on USA from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Have fun watching viral videos on MTV with a "Ridiculousness" marathon from 3:18 p.m. to 10 p.m.

And lastly, revisit your favoritie episodes of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" which airs on BBC America from 8 a.m. to midnight.

Movies:

A weekend marathon of James Bond films begins Thursday on SyFy featuring: Dr. No, Thunderball, Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, Die Another Day, Casino Royale, Goldfinger, The World Is Not Enough (again), according to Buzz Feed.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., AMC will be airing back-to-back screenings of "The Godfather" and "The Godfather, Part II" until midnight.

ABC Family will kick off a movie marathon of Harry Potter films starting at 1 p.m. with "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban," "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince."
