After her epic 14-second victory against returning MMA fighter Cat Zingano, undefeated UFC women bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will now be taking on another challenge in her acting career: that is playing the role of a CIA operative.

UFC president Dana White has earlier revealed that Rowdy signed up to do a film right after her fight with Zingano and Yahoo Sports noted that the movie is called "Mile 22." To be produced by Peter Berg, the movie will reportedly cast Rousey as a CIA agent with an Indonesian police officer as her partner, who will be played by Iko Uwais.

The two, according to Yahoo Sports, will battle "extreme political corruption."

Fox Sports noted that Berg is excited to work with the main cast of his movie.

"I am a huge fan of what Gareth (Evans) and Iko did on both 'Raid' films, and I'm very excited at the possibility of working with Ronda and Iko to create a film in the spirit of this new wave of combat cinema emerging from Indonesia. Ronda and Iko will be a very unique and powerful team," he was quoted by Fox Sports as saying.

According to Bloody Elbow, the film will start filming in May and will give Rousey another break in the movie industry after her success with movies like "The Expendables."

Aside from the movie, the same report said that the UFC champion is also planning to be part of "The Athena Project," which is a Warner Bros. Adaptation of Brad Thor's counter-terrorism novel.

This series of project for Rousey seemed to have irked her contemporaries in the UFC including undefeated Brazilian bantanweight Bethe Correia.

"She did a good thing that was bringing the UFC the female fights. She convinced Dana to do it. But I don't think she's a good champion. I think she's really selfish. She just thinks about herself, about making movies, dressing well, showing up. I'm not gonna be like this, I'm gonna be a real champ. I'm gonna do something for the people. I'm gonna be the people's champ," Correia said, as quoted by Yahoo Sports.

The Brazilian fighter added that she's been wanting to seal a fight with Rousey ever since she started in the UFC.

"Every day I challenge Ronda, [and] I ask for the fight, I'm gonna do whatever it takes. I already feel like the champ; I don't feel like Ronda is the champ," Correia added.

Rousey's talent and record of beating her recent opponents under 30 seconds has definitely left a mark not only in the UFC but in other industries as well. She was recently offerred by Top Rank promoter Bob Arum the only free ticket for the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout in May.
