Zedd's chance meeting with Selena Gomez has blossomed into something very special.

According to the DJ, he first met the former Disney star while on a bathroom break.

In a recent interview with Los Angeles's AMP Radio, Zedd, also known as Anton Zaslavski, recalled his first encounter with the Latina hottie.

"I had the day off, and I decided to go buy stuff for my house because I just moved. I had to pee, and I had my engineer with me, so I was like, 'I hope they have a bathroom there.' He was like, just go to the studio over there," the 25-year-old music producer revealed, as quoted by Latina Entertainment.

He continued, "So, I walk in and John, the head of our label, who had just signed Selena, was there. He was like, 'Have you ever met Selena?' So, he introduced me to her, and was like hey, she's cool, maybe we should make a song together. And then, like a week later, we start working on a song together."

True enough, the duo went ahead to collaborate on a song. They recently released the track "I Want You to Know" a few days ago, with a music video expected to come out in the coming weeks, Latina Entertainment noted. Zedd also teased what fans should expect from the single's video clip.

"Yes, I will be in the video actually, and it will come out very soon. There for sure is a plot, but we can't tell you about that. We want it to be a surprise," the Russian-German DJ revealed, as quoted by the news outlet.

The music video for "I Want You to Know" was filmed in Los Angeles on February 8 with a 1970s/80s disco theme, Hollywood Life noted. Gomez has been giving teasers on her Instagram page in which she can be seen donning disco costumes from the late 90s

The rumored couple was last spotted together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party held Sunday, Feb. 22. Gomez wore a floor length Louis Vuitton gown and was seen cuddling with A-list actress Jennifer Aniston, Daily Mail wrote.

The "Spring Breakers" star and Zedd have only been together recently, according to multiple reports. Rumors about their romantic entanglement surfaced after they shared numerous photos of them hanging out together, including Skype selfies and behind-the-scenes shots of their music video.

A report from Hollywood Life also revealed that the pop star prefers Zedd's company more than her ex-flame Justin Bieber. The EDM DJ is reportedly "really romantic" and more "attentive."

"Selena says Zedd is the ultimate lover and better than Justin on so many levels," the news outlet's source revealed. "He's more attentive, more affectionate, whispers to her, is way more into passionate kissing and love-making lasts hours!"
