UFC female bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey revealed that she now has an extra "motivation" to beat Cat Zingano at UFC 184 and that is to get the money for her to be able to afford tickets for Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao's clash on May 2 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

In an exclusive TMZ report, Rousey said during a training in Los Angeles that she is desperate to watch the fight just as much as she is pumped up to face Zingano inside the Octagon.

"I really want to go so bad. I gotta go beat Cat Zingano so I can make a couple million dollars and afford that ticket," she told TMZ.

Rousey did not only divulge that she wanted to watch the fight but also revealed who she is rooting for. "Pacquiao has been very, very nice to me so I'm going to root for him," she added.

USA Today said that Rousey may not need millions of dollars for her to watch the megafight but noted that she needs to prepare more than $40,000 if she is planning to purchase ringside seats for the fight. The report noted that the most expensive ticket costs $41,161 while the cheapest is pegged at $4,175.

The possible reason behind Rousey's support for Pacquiao could be a previous bad experience with the undefeated American fighter.

In July last year, Mayweather mistook Rousey for a man and even said that he doesn't even know who Rousey is.

MMA Junkie said that it could be quite unbelievable that Mayweather did not know Rousey despite her being ESPY's "Best Female Athlete" and "Best Fighter" at the UFC.

But Mayweather has also apologized to the UFC female champ and even wishing her congratulations.

"I didn't know who she was the other day. I apologize because I didn't know. I'm used to watching football and basketball. I'm not really into boxing like that. But when they tell me (about) a fighter - they say 'Floyd, you need to scout a fighter,' I say, 'Well, let me see him.' I said, 'We need to sign him," Mayweather said in the MMA Junkie report.

For his part, UFC president Dana White told Bleacher Report that he favors a fight between Rousey and Mayweather after the former challenged the boxer to a fight. White even said that the female champ would "hurt" Mayweather if they go head to head against each other.

If things go according to plan, Rousey will be one of the eager spectators who will watch the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao on May 2. But before that, she must also make sure that she will beat returning UFC fighter Zingano on Feb. 28 in Los Angeles, California.
