It's that time of the year again when you're perfectly excused if you decide to stay in for the weekend and binge-watch a Netflix series. And what could be a better show to stay the night in than the power-hungry, political drama "House of Cards," with Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright?

Based on a British show of the same name, fans of the political drama can watch entire seasons all at once as Netflix releases all 13-episodes every season, all at once.

Last season, Frank Underwood (Spacey) has reached the top rung of the ladder and has manipulated his way into the highest office, leaving a lot of collateral damage behind, including his chief of staff (although according to Time, Doug Stamper's death is debatable) and the Washington Herald editor.

Now that the third season is airing, here are some things we can expect from the show, as noted by USA Today:

1) While season 2 focused on Frank, season 3 will have to show the crucial role that Claire has in the series, as she is proven to be as power hungry and manipulative as her husband. Her cold, calculating ways gave Robin Wright a Golden Globe last year, and it's time to see more of her.

2) Tensions will rise between the Underwoods. Sure, you can't help but wonder what kind of marriage arrangement they have, but in the trailer, Claire is seen crying and they seem to be distancing themselves.

3) Journalists could probably write their own way into their stories because more than ever, they have been caught up in political power plays, and based on the previous seasons, they will never hold the power when Frank Underwood is running the show.

4) What is "House of Cards without a lot of backstabbing? The show is set on that (and even more blackmail) so fans will have to expect a lot of that, but hopefully with even better contenders. While Frank's problem has been with journalists, it would be nice to see that a political contender could fight his way to the top. The New York Times reported the presence of a Russian President getting involved in the show, but as for now those are just rumors.

5) A political drama won't be political without heavy politics, and with the Underwoods very intent on gaining more and more power, you can bet that there will be plenty of that in the new season, however, according to the New York Times, the emphasis on Frank's presidency will be tuned down for a bit.

What are you most excited to see in the new season?
