Naya Rivera is pregnant! The former "Glee" star announced the good news on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
In a tweet, she posted: "First comes love... then comes marriage... then comes..." The tweet was accompanied by a link redirecting to her website, which shows a cute animated photo captioned: "We're having a baby! Ryan and I feel so blessed and can't wait to welcome the newest member of our family."
The actress' blog post also shows Rivera and Ryan Dorsey's childhood photos.
Dorsey also took to Twitter to talk about his wife's pregnancy. He posted: "S/o 2 whoever sold the 'news' 2 the greatest 'magazine' in the world -- OK Magazine, who informed us yesterday they were releasing it 2day," followed by, "Even though it was way before we wanted to share...At the very least, thanks for the heads up OK so we could share it on our own. #Dadlife!"
Rivera and Dorsey got married on the date she was supposed to marry ex-fiancé Big Sean, who is now dating pop star Ariana Grande, according to a report from Us Weekly. Just three months after breaking up with the rapper, Rivera and Dorsey had a secret wedding ceremony which was only attended by 12 guests and the officiating minister, Daily Mail noted.
Just recently, the 28-year-old actress shared a photo of her never-before-seen gorgeous wedding gown on Instagram, which was a Monique Lhuillier creation, Latina noted.
"We feel truly blessed to be joined as husband and wife," the couple told PEOPLE exclusively in July 2014. "Our special day was fated and everything we could have ever asked for. True love always prevails."
Rivera and Dorsey had been good friends for four years before they started dating each other, PEOPLE wrote. The actress, who is set to appear on Lifetime's "Devious Maids," said in January 2014 that she wants to speak Spanish more fluently so that she could teach her future kids the language.
"It sucks because I have no one to (speak Spanish) to, but it's something I need to learn when I have kids. They need to be fluent," Rivera said, as quoted by Fox News Latino.
According to a report from Deadline, Rivera's appearance on "Devious Maids" will see her portray the character of Blanca, "a new maid in the neighborhood who has landed a job with the seemingly picture-perfect Beverly Hills family." She will soon discover a terrible secret that could significantly impact her character's life.
Rivera also appears on "The View" as a guest co-host, Deadline noted. Ratings of the talk show surged when the actress' comments about showering and Justin Bieber raised controversy among its viewers, which also had a lot of people expressing their thoughts on social media.
