Unless the course of the winds change, Samsung's next flagship is absolutely unstoppable. The rumored Galaxy S6 has gained enough hype -- even a seemingly complete list of specs -- before its expected unwrapping at the Mobile World Congress (MWC).

For those who haven't heard, the MWC happens on Mar. 2 - 5 in Barcelona, Spain. Samsung has particularly sent out invites for its "Unpacked" event scheduled on Mar. 1, set at the Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona (CCIB). It kicks off at 6:30 p.m. CET (12:30 p.m. EST).

Fans unable to attend need not worry, as the event will be livestreamed on Samsung's YouTube channel and global blog.

The Galaxy S6 isn't the only device churned by rumor mills. Apparently, it's touted to come in four different versions: the standard S6, the Galaxy S6 Edge, the Galaxy S6 Mini and the Galaxy S6 Active.

As the MWC inches closer, more information on the Samsung flagship device continue to pop online. The latest of them comes straight from carriers, in the form of a graphic that says, "Six Appeal."

As told by The Verge, T-Mobile's John Legere has confirmed late Sunday that the company will deliver Samsung's latest. AT&T's version of the graphic has also been cited, but this time, the network placed a "Spring 2015" release date.

Based on the teaser, the new Samsung phone might have a sidewall display as seen in the earlier Galaxy Note Edge. If we are to consider the handset's purported variations, this most likely is the Galaxy S6 Edge.

As galaxys6o.com described it, the Galaxy S6 will be "a rugged smartphone with waterproof feature," just like its predecessor. The outlet went on to indicate that it can withstand water at a depth of up to 100 meters.

Citing information from an Italian blog, AndroidPIT is convinced that the device will come with waterproof abilities, considering its "all-in-one nature."

However, TechRadar cited another report which claimed that the standard Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are both ditching aquatic compatibility. This could mean a difference from the Galaxy S5, which has the ability to spend underwater time.

These information are best taken with a pinch of salt; until Samsung mouths a word, nobody can really tell if the Galaxy S6 becomes everybody's amphibian.

Aside from the alleged full-metal architecture, the device is believed to house a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display, QHD (1440 x 2560) resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 2600mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 / Exynos 7420 processor, 3 GB of RAM, microSD support, 20 MP main camera, 5 MP front snapper, Android 5.0 Lollipop support and 32 / 64 /128 GB storage options.

In terms of price, the smartphone is rumored to sell between $750 - $800.
