Heavenly odors of pies trickle from the oven and grace the kitchen with a thick cloud of Thanksgiving joy that will make your taste buds tingles. Not only has the storm caused problems for the biggest travel day of the year, but its notorious unrelenting traffic has clogged major highways and induced millions of headaches. More than 150 flights were canceled out of Philadelphia and New York airports on Wednesday. Motorists met heavy rain, which began to taper mid afternoon, and found snow-covered, icy roads inland of the East Coast.

Despite major delays, some cancellations and several traffic buildups, the storm did little to damper the holiday commute. The day is hellish as it is. A little storm does nothing but add a new subtle flavor. Chump change.
