Ana Brenda Contreras has started shooting her upcoming Televisa drama "Lo Imperdonable" in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
According to a report from Latin Post, the 28-year-old actress recently shared a photo of herself on Instagram with the translated caption: "Today I embark on a new adventure. Happy! Excited! And thankful for those who have gotten on the boat with me. #WithoutFilter just as Veronica is."
She also posted a picture of the cast of "Lo Imperdonable."
Contreras also shared her fitness regimen in preparation for "Lo Imperdonable," the news outlet noted. The actress revealed that she has been doing various workouts to make sure that she's in great shape.
"I'm super in love with boxing. It gets rid of all your stress," she revealed, as quoted by Latin Post. "I'm eating well. And because of the novela, I am taking fencing classes and horse riding."
The telenovela star reportedly suffered a minor injury while preparing for her role. In an interview with Hoy, which was translated by Latin Post, Contreras revealed that she fell while riding a horse. According to the news outlet, "the arm she used to grab the reins was in a lot of discomfort, so she went to the doctor." The actress' hand was not broken, but she still needs to give her hand a few weeks of rest.
Contreras also recently starred in Televisa's highly successful "Corazón Indomable," Latin Times reported. She was also reportedly eyeing to star in "La Mentira" opposite "La Tempestad" actor Iván Sánchez, who will also serve as one of the leads on "Lo Imperdonale." The two stars were at the Televisa studios in November 2014 in México City "testing in front of the cameras to see if their chemistry is right," Latin Times added.
Osvaldo De León will also star in the Salvador Mejia telenovela as an antagonist, according to a translated report from Novela Lounge. The actor will have to cut off his beard for the role.
Another translated report from TV y Espectáculos stated that "Lo Imperdonable" is an adaptation of "La Mentira," which starred Kate del Castillo, Karla Alvarez, and Guy Ecker.
"Lo Imperdonable" tells the story of two sisters Victoria and Valeria (Grettell Valdéz), one is good and responsible, while the other one pretends to kind and loving, but who is in fact a bad person who will not let her sister be happy with the man she wants, TV y Espectáculos noted.
