Microsoft's Windows Phone division premiered a new advertisement for the 41-megapixel-sensor camera known as the Nokia Lumia 1020.
"Honestly, I wanted a phone with a better camera," says the female protagonist of the 30-second advertisement.
"I checked out the Windows Phones, and saw the Lumia 1020 has 41 megapixels, so I can zoom way in even after I take the picture," she continues, noting how she can adjust the shot before capturing the image.
The advertisement ends with a Windows Phone offer that allows the consumer to purchase a Lumia 1020 or Lumia 1520 smartphone and get the Lumia 2520 tablet for $199.99 with mobile carrier AT&T.
The advertisement is the latest by Microsoft to utilize the song "Brave" by Sara Bareilles.
The latest Lumia 1020 advertisement comes as Latino Post reported on the smartphone's price reduction on Amazon. The Lumia 1020 encountered a price cut to $74.99 for new AT&T customers who sign a two-year contract. The price increases to $99.99 for current AT&T customers who want to upgrade their device regardless if they're in an individual plan or family plan.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
