It is no secret that "The Walking Dead" is not exactly one of the cheeriest shows on television. After all, how happy would you be if you're in the middle of a zombie apocalypse, and all the luxuries of life has been taken away from you?

However, TWD's episode from last Wednesday is even more depressing than usual, and as Oregon Live noted, it seems like everyone is wandering around in a daze.

The website noted some reasons why this season's tenth episode is the most disturbing ever, and here they are:

1) Lauren Cohan's Maggie lost her family, and lost much of her hope. She's in tears, and even went on to tell Glenn (played by Steven Yeun) that she isn't sure if she still wants to fight.

2) The group is so hard up on food and water - so much so that Daryl (Norman Reedus) had to resort to eating a live worm. Not only that, but he too, has lost hope, and Carol (Melissa McBride) had to remind him of his past optimism by telling him, "you're not dead."

3) Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) tries to contain her grief by lashing out at the walkers, but when Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) tries to comfort her by telling her that she's among friends, it's difficult to accept that she told him, "we're not friends."

4) As the group was taking refuge from the storm, Rick remembers his grandfather, a WWII veteran, who told him that he managed to survive by telling himself that he's dead the minute he stepped into enemy territory. Rick then spoke about it to the group, telling them, "This is how we survive. We tell ourselves that we are the walking dead."

5) The storm has downed trees and walker body parts, and half the group was ready to give up, but then a new character, Aaron (Ross Marquand), appears, looking clean and dry and absolutely chipper. He introduces himself as a friend, but what TWD Comic Book fans know, is that Aaron's appearance will be the beginning of Glenn's demise.

Speaking of Aaron, The Daily Beast notes that the first ever gay character in the series is actually a good guy as far as the comic books are concerned. He is a recruiter from the Alexandria Safe-Zone, and his job is to recruit groups of survivors and see if he deems them worthy.

Unfortunately for Rick's group, when they arrive at the Alexandria Safe-Zone, they're going to meet a crazy character named Negan, who is a sadistic leader of the Saviors, a violent group of survivors. If the comics are to be followed, Negan will bash Glenn's head in with a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire, who he affectionately calls Lucille.
