The Nokia Lumia 1020 received a price reduction on Amazon.com for AT&T customers.
According to Amazon, the Lumia 1020 has a new price of $74.99 for people who sign onto a new AT&T account for two years. The $74.99 price is also valid for current AT&T customers who want to add a new line of service to their existing account. The price is also valid for customers on an individual plan or family plan.
The $74.99 price tag, however, increases to $99.99 for current AT&T customers who want to upgrade their device regardless if they're on an individual plan or family plan.
Amazon's "Without a Service Plan" offer for the Lumia 1020 will cost the consumer $599.99.
The new prices are eligible for the black, white, and yellow Lumia 1020 models.
As Latino Post reported, AT&T's official website also reduced the price of the Lumia 1020 to $99.99 from $199.99. The $99.99 price tag is available for customers who sign a two-year contract with the mobile carrier. The Lumia 1020's price is down considerably compared to the $299.99 price tag seen when the Windows Phone 8 smartphone launched earlier in 2013.
Meanwhile, the online Microsoft Store hasn't received the memo about the $99.99. The online Microsoft Store is selling the Lumia 1020 for $199.99 when signing a two-year contract with AT&T. The no-contract price for the Lumia 1020 is $610.
The Lumia 1020's features include a 4.5-inch screen with 1,280x768 pixels covered in Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The new Windows Phone 8 device has 32GB of internal storage for 2GB of RAM. The device includes a rear-facing camera with a 41-megapixel sensor and front-facing camera with 1.2 megapixels. The smartphone also packs a 2,000mAh battery.
