Christina Aguilera has a lot going on for her these days. This year, the singer will return as a judge on "The Voice." She also gave birth to her second child, Summer Rain, with longtime boyfriend Matt Rutler. With all these commitments packed into her life, it's no wonder that the pop diva has no plans of tying the knot with her fiancé anytime soon.

In PEOPLE's exclusive cover story this week, Aguilera revealed that she and Rutler, her partner since 2010, are in no rush to marry each other.

"Having just moved into a beautiful new home we call 'the Sanctuary,' having a baby, and now being so excited to get back to work (on 'The Voice'), I have my hands full, and am not in a rush to set a date," the songstress told PEOPLE.

Aside from her 6-month-old daughter, Aguilera is also mother to 7-year-old Max, her son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman, the news outlet noted. She also added that she wants to plan the wedding and "cherish the moment" without it feeling rushed. For now, she and Rutler are embracing parenthood and enjoying their life as a family.

Aguilera added, "Our love is secure enough that we don't need a wedding to prove our love or commitment. We are enjoying our daughter, our family and our work for now."

Aguilera, the doting mom

Being a mom is hard, and the pop star admitted that she tries her best to raise her two children.

"Mom guilt is the worst. It's hard to know you won't have all the right answers at the right times," the "Fighter" singer said, as quoted by a report from Daily Mail. "We can be our own worst critics at times."

She also gushed about her daughter, who can charm anyone with her presence.

"Summer is a pretty Zen baby. She loves people. She has these big, blue, soulful eyes and really takes you in when meeting someone new," Aguilera further explained.

Busy year for the pop singer

Aside from "The Voice," Aguilera is also set to appear as a guest star on "Nashville." She will portray Jade St. John, a pop star who wants to record a country album, Daily Mail noted.

The singer will also executive produce an ABC Family dramedy titled "Hearts and Clubs," an hourlong show which centers around Las Vegas entertainers "as they fall in and out of love in the ultimate city of Sin," Deadline reported. The show will be written by "Jake In Progress" creator Austin Winsberg, tackling the characters' relationship dramas, difficulties, and complications.
